Writing has always been my first love, but a talent for film-making steered me in a different direction, leading a friend and I to found a London-based film company - editing and producing award-winning TV documentaries. Over the years, projects took me to Italy, Greece, India and then to Canada, and in the course of my adventures, I met and married a well-known actor and settled in Canada.
 
Working between Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal, I then created and produced TV series for children; collaborated on scripts for television and film; and wrote extensively for various magazines. For ten years, I was the Contributing Editor of 'Britannia' - a North-American magazine celebrating the British way of life. Later, I founded and wrote a very popular monthly newsletter/magazine for Coronation Street's many fans overseas.
 
In 1998, I and my husband, Michael, returned to the UK to live near my film-maker daughter, and our grandchildren. Here, the green, rolling hills of Somerset worked their magic, and so the Dylan and Red Tabby's stories were born...
